Connected with Yunxian Lake, Yunmeng Lake is encircled by several lush mountains. In fine sunny weather, the Yunmeng Lake, a vast expanse of misty and rolling waters, looks like a piece of blue jade embedded in the mountains, rivers and vast open country, a picturesque scene. This lake has the artistic conception of "the steamed Yunmeng Lakes” in Meng Haoran's poem, so it is named Yunmeng Lake.
